To mark Plant for Pakistan Day, Chairman Standing Committee on Postal Services MNA Haji Imtiaz Ahmed inaugurated Spring Afforestation campaign with planting Texodam tree at Chillianwala Monument. Deputy Commissioner Mahtab Waseem Azhar, Assistant Commissioner Malak Abbas Zulqarnain Awan and local students and people in large number attended the event, who thereafter practically participated in the campaign and planted one thousands trees. Speaking on the occasion, Haji Imtiaz Chaudhry said afforestation is need of the hour to reducing effect of climate change, keeping environment neat, clean.
