Special children needed opportunities to show their talents

Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar has said that it is a fact that special children are second to none in talents.
If they are properly guided, taught and trained, they can perform well, they just need friendly environment to show their talents. This he said while visiting DEWA Awareness Carnival & Art Exhibition, held at DEWA Complex.
On this occasion VC Karachi University Khalid Iraqi and CEO DEWA Institute of Special Inclusive Education Rizwan Ahmed Lodhi were also present. Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar visited various stalls and appreciated the art and other work, displayed by special children.
He showed keen interest in the paintings and other art work of the special children and also encouraged them to do more work in future as well.
During the visit CEO DEWA Rizwan Ahmed Lodhi briefed Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar regarding performance and plans of his NGO.
Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar added, ‘Sindh Government is closely coordinating with NGOs, working for welfare and rehabilitation of the special children, and appreciate them as well’.
