Speakers at a seminar in New Delhi while vehemently criticizing India’s muscular policies in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir called for a political settlement of the Kashmir dispute.

The speakers including APHC leader Mir Shahid Saleem while participating in the roundtable on “Jammu Kashmir: The Way Forward” held at India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi, said that people of Jammu and Kashmir were being pushed to the wall and were going through the worst times.

They called upon India to stop bulldozing the democratic and human rights of the people of Jammu Kashmir and take measures to find out a political solution to the Kashmir dispute. A large number of sociopolitical activists, journalists and human rights activists from across India participated in the day-long deliberations, organised by Centre of Peace and Progress (CPP), a Calcutta based think tank .—KMS
