Speaker NA assures all-out help for promotion of Art

Art is the best medium to improve the soft image  of the country, said National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. As per details, Crescent Art Gallery Chairman Nasir Javed called on NA  Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf in the Parliament House and exchanged  thoughts over different matters of mutual interests including art and  culture.

On the occasion, chief executive of Crescent Art Gallery R Sameer Nasir  was also present. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that the services of the Crescent Art Gallery for promotion of art and culture are praiseworthy.

He lauded the efforts  to highlight the art work of different Pakistani artists in various  countries through arts exhibitions. He said the art is the best medium  to promote the soft image of the country. He assured his all-out help in  this regard. Nasir Javed briefing the Speaker about the Crescent Gallery said that it is the only art gallery of Pakistan that works for the betterment of  artists without any discrimination.

He said we are holding arts exhibitions in Karachi, KPK, Punjab and other parts of the country.He said group discussions, workshops and seminars are also being held through senior artists to promote junior artists in practical field. He said that an arts exhibition would also be held in the Parliament House.
