SNGPL continues crackdown against gas theft

During the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, disconnecting another 205 connections while 371 under billing cases processed Rs 8.82 million fine imposed . In Lahore, the regional team disconnected 17 connections on illegal use of gas while another 7 on use of compressor. The team also imposed fine of Rs 0.13 million against gas theft and under billing cases. The regional team of Rawalpindi disconnected 5 connections on illegal use of gas.

The regional team of Islamabad disconnected 13 connections on illegal use of gas. In Multan 1 connection was disconnected on illegal use of gas ,154 under billing cases have been processed ,0.22million booked against Under billing and gas theft cases and One FIR also lodged by the team.

The team of Sheikhupura disconnected 33 connections on illegal use of gas while another 4 on use of compressor,35 under billing cases have been processed and fine of Rs 5.03 million imposed against gas pilferes. In Sargodha 4 connections were disconnected on use of compressor. In Sahiwal, two connections were disconnected on use of compressor . In Faisalabad three connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas ,12 under billing cases have been processed and amount of Rs 0.18 million booked against gas theft cases.
