Hazara police has recruited as many as ten sons and brothers of martyrs of the police force as assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs under the Shaheed Package and issued their appointment letters in a simple but impressive ceremony held. The ceremony was attended by family members of martyrs across Hazara division in which Deputy Inspector General Police Hazara Qazi Jamilur-Rehman has given appointment letters to all ten newly recruited ASIs which include seven hails from Mansehra and one each from Abbottabad, Batagram and Upper Kohistan. Those who were issued appointment letters include Nadeem Shehzad, Azhar Farooq, Asfandyar, Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Khanvaiz, Zamir Ali Shah, Adil Shah, Naveed Khan, Aamir Khan and Asim Anwar.
DIG Police Hazara Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman while addressing the ceremony lauded the sacrifices of the Khyber Pakhtunkwa Police during the last many years, saying this was because of the sacrifices of these cops and soldiers that peace had returned to the country. He said the KP police were the force of brave cops which have fought on the frontline against terrorists and sacrificed lives to to protect the public. Under the Shaheed Package, the family of a martyred the policeman is given a handsome cash amount, support for the education of children and medical facilities. Besides, son or brother fulfilling criteria for the post is recruited as ASI.
DIG Hazara has reviewed the security arrangements & traffic plan in Hazara during the holy month of Ramadan. Besides law and order situation, measures for safety from coronavirus including social distances and action against price hike & hoarders in a meeting held here on Monday Meeting was attended by DPO Abbottabad Javed Iqbal Wazir, DPO Haripur Syed Ishfaque Anwar and DPO Mansehra Sadiq Baluch.
