The Chinese Consul General in Lahore, Mr. Zhao Sherin, has paid rich tributes to Zahid Malik (late), Editor-in-Chief daily Pakistan Observer for his balanced and positive journalism.
Mr. Sherin said this while talking to Mr Faisal Zahid Malik, Editor-in-Chief of daily Pakistan Observer on Thursday. Earlier, Mr Sherin accorded warm welcome when Mr Faisal reached his office and said May 21st marked the 72nd anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Consul General also mentioned his services for Islam and lauded his contribution in this regard. It is high time to celebrate this relationship to meet again. He said that daily Pakistan Observer always played a positive role in the promotion of diplomatic relations between two countries and the cause of CPEC as well. He pledged, “We can support each other for further understanding and mutual benefits and do the CPEC story narrative in the right way.”
He was of the view that with these mutual efforts, Pakistan Observer and CPEC will flourish in the future. “We are thankful to ‘Pakistan Observer’ for promoting our bilateral relations,” he said.
