City Administrator Iftikhar Ali Shallwani has been given additional charge of the city commissioner replacing Dr Sohail Rajput, who was transferred to the federal government after being promoted to grade-22. The provincial government through a notification assigned him to hold additional charge of commissioner till further orders. Shallwani, a Grade-21 officer, had earlier served as city commissioner before being posted as city administrator after the elected local governments wound up their tenure in August.
