Director General Agha Fakhar Hussain chaired a discussion with the office bearers of the milk retailer’s association to address concerns regarding adulterated milk supply. It was unanimously agreed to combat milk adulteration and take strict action against offenders. DG Agha Fakhar Hussain announced plans to establish five labs dedicated to milk testing, with one already operational at the SFA office.
Additionally, milk testing kits will be provided to major milk shops for immediate quality checks. Citizens can utilize these labs for affordable milk quality assessments, and Hussain expressed gratitude for stakeholders’ cooperation in ensuring unadulterated food supply, warning of severe repercussions for those involved in selling adulterated items.
