In a significant operation spanning from Gwadar to Hub, the Pakistan Coast Guards have dismantled a major narcotic smuggling network, also uncovering illegal immigration activities. The operations, conducted from Jiwani to Pasni, resulted in the arrest of illegal immigrants and the seizure of a substantial quantity of contraband, including narcotics, oil, and various everyday items.

Acting on confidential information, the Pakistan Coast Guards intercepted a shipment engaged in narcotics trafficking through the sea, leading to the apprehension of several foreign nationals at different locations.

Seized items during the operation included 1 kilogram of ice, 8,568 kilograms of supari (betal nuts), 95 cartons of cigarettes, 2,151 kilograms of cloth, and 1,150 kilograms of chemicals, along with significant quantities of petrol and diesel. Additionally, a free medical camp set up at medical checkpoints provided examinations for 280 individuals, with essential medicines distributed to those in need.

Legal action was taken by the Pakistan Coast Guards, resulting in the confiscation of 53 speedboats, 3,900 litres of diesel, 5,660 litres of petrol, and other lawful items from their owners.
