Sehat Cards to be delivered among LoC areas’ poor on PM’s directives

On the special directives of Prime Minister Pakistan Imran Khan, the distribution of ‘Sehat Insaf Cards ‘throughout Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) with top most priority to the districts adjacent to Line of Control (LoC) has started here on Tuesday. According to details, renowned social worker and PTI central leader Syed Zeeshan Haider launched the program in the State by giving away the first ‘Sehat Insaf Card’ to Nisar Ahmed, a resident of Jehlum Valley District whose 18 years daughter is suffering from severe liver and kidneys diseases.
Talking to this Correspondent, PTI leader told that in first phase over 27000 families in Hattian Bala, Jehlum Valley and 300,000 Sehat Insaf Cards would be distributed throughout the state. ‘With the collaboration of Federal government, four centers have been setup in Hattian Bala to facilitate the distribution process’, Zeeshan Haider further told.
‘There are no charges, not even a single rupee to receive these cards. A strict monitoring mechanism has been evolved to ensure transparency and proper facilitation to the beneficiaries’, he added. He expressed resolve that there will be no political or regional biasness or favoritism in distribution process.
Commenting on the collaboration of non-profit organizations involved in the distribution process, PTI leader said that Salik Development Foundation and State Life Insurance are taken on board for this purpose. Giving its credit to the Prime Minister Imran Khan and Federal Minister on Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur, Zeeshan Haider said that both the leaders are keen to provide best health and educational facilities to the people residing near LoC areas at their door steps.
He, on behalf of AJK people expressed profound gratitude to the federal government particularly Prime Minister Imran Khan and Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for taking keen interest in the development of liberated territory. It is to mention here that Sehat Insaf Card would support the medical treatment of up to Rs 720,000 per family. The initiative proved a success in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where around 69 percent of the poor families were given such cards who received quality healthcare.
