The Secretary Industries and Commerce Ehsan Bhutta visited the TEVTA Headquarters. The CEO TEVTA, Ahmed Khawar Shazad briefed the Secretary about various interventions of TEVTA i.e.
TEVTA’s development portfolio, research, curriculum development, avenues of introducing modern skills, research journal initiative, resolving pending pension matters / enquiries and holding the promotion committees meetings for the promotion of eligible staff.
The Secretary appreciated TEVTA’s initiatives and directed TEVTA management to introduce contemporary courses which are not only domestic demand driven but are also recognized internationally.
He also urged to conduct sessions with the alumni to learn about their career achievements and market trends.
He also advised TEVTA management to establish strong industry linkages and to ensure optimum placement of TEVTA graduates.
