SBP announces bank holidays on July 16-17

KARACHI – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), allied offices, and public and private sector banks and financial institutions will remain closed on July 16th and 17th, 2024 (Tuesday & Wednesday) being public holidays on the occasion of Ashura (9th & 10th Moharram 1446 A.H).

The SBP on Wednesday issued a notification in this regard. The banks will resume normal work on July 18 (Thursday).
