STAFF REPORTER The chairman senate Sadiq Sanjrani ordered the registration of the case against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police officer who allegedly harassed Senator Aurangzeb and his family. According to details, Chairman Senate has written a letter to IG KP and secretary establishment and informed them he has ordered the registration of a case against the KP police officer Mian Abdul Qadir. He directed the IG KP to provide se curity to Senator Aurangzeb and his family and also inform the Senate after taking action against the concern police officer. In his letter to establishment division, he recommended suspension of the police officer and inquiry against him. It is worth mentioning that a day earlier during the Senate session Raza Rabbani mentioned that the conduct meted out with the Senator Aurangzeb has breached privilege of the upper house, therefore, exemplary punishment should be given to the concerned police officer
