The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee strengthened by 46 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Tuesday and closed at Rs174.30 as compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs174.76.
According to the Forex Association of Paki stan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollars in the open market were recorded at Rs 175.5 and Rs 177 respectively.
Similarly, the price of the euro was depreciated by 83 paisas and closed at Rs 196.14 against the last day’s trading of Rs 196.97, the State Bank of Pakistan reported.—APP
