On the directives of Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control Mukesh
Kumar Chawla, Secretary ET & NC Abdul Halim Shaikh and Director General ET & NC Shoaib Ahmed
Siddiqui, a special team under Ditector Taxes II Iqbal Ahmed Laghari was constituted for the recovery of
Infrastructure Cess in term of LNG from PSO. Director Taxes II Iqbal Ahmed Laghari and his team have
recovered Rs. 4.8 billion ( in arrears) from PSO in this regard. For appreciating them, a simple and
graceful ceremony was held in the office of Secretary ET & NC Abdul Halim Shaikh . Secretary ET & NC
Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui distributed appreciation certificatesto Director Excise II Iqbal Ahmed Laghari and
other ETOs and officials. While in his message Provincial minister for Excise and Taxation Narcotics
Control and Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Kumar has appreciated the whole team and expressed his
hope that they would continue their same efforts for recovery of other taxes as well.
