Rs 8b earmarked for Karachi uplift: Wahab

Spokesperson Sindh Government and Administrator KMC Barrister MurtazaWahabhas said that BaghRustam Family Park Clifton has been opened to the public.

On directives of Barrister MurtazaWahab, KMC completed renovation of BaghRustam Family Park in a short span of timeA large number of citizens, including President PPP South District Khalil, Deputy Commissioner District South IrshadSodhar and officials of KMC were present on the occasion.

Talking to the media after the inauguration ceremony, Wahab said that his intention is to serve Karachi.

He said that the citizens did not have a good impression for KMC. “I also had an excuse to cry but I tried to make the institution stand on its feet,” he added.

In response to a question, he said that the municipal tax was levied by merging different types of taxes.

Replying to a question, Wahab said that they are ready for the local bodies’ elections. “Sindh government has written a letter to the parliament against the CCI. This double standard towards Sindh government should be halted.
