SYDNEY – Pakistan cricket team captain Mohammad Rizwan on Monday donated his wicketkeeping gloves and shirt to the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) Museum.
The latest reports suggested that Rizwan made the donation after the T20 match played in Sydney.
The SCG Museum management expressed gratitude to the Pakistani captain for his gesture.
Before Rizwan, Pakistan’s star batter and former captain Babar Azam had donated the bat he used in the 2022 T20 World Cup final for display in the Long Room of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
The second match of the three-game T20 series between Pakistan and Australia was held on Saturday in Sydney, where Pakistan suffered a defeat. The series will conclude with the final match, scheduled to take place today in Hobart.
