Renowned religious scholar Allama Talib Jauhari was laid to rest here on Monday.His funeral prayer was offered at Amroha Ground which was attended by people from all walks of life. Prime Minister Imran Khan, Information Minister Shibli Faraz, Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and other important leaders expressed deep grief and sorrow over his sad demise of Allama Talib Jauhari. His followers, government officials, politicians and people from all walks of life have expressed sorrow over the demise of the great scholar.Allama Talib Jauhari, one of Pakistan’s most well-respected and known Shia scholars, was passed away at a private hospital in Karachi at the age of 81. Allama Talib had been under treatment in the intensive care ward of a Karachi hospital for heart problems.Born on August 27, 1939, Allama Talibwas the son of renowned scholar Allama Mustafa Khan Johar. He is survived by three sons.Allama Talib was a poet and orator, who had been awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz for his contributions to society. He was known as a philosopher and had written several books. “His book Hadees-e-Karabla is one of the few Maqtal written in Urdu and has been considered as one of the most well compiled sources to the traditions related to the Event of Karbala.”
