A spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Inamullah Samangani said that their recognition is not a need of them but a need of the world.

Inamullah Samangani warned against not recognizing the IEA by the international community as it will have adverse consequences.

“Recognition of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is not a need of Afghanistan but of the international community as Afghanistan is a member of the community and political engagement with Afghanistan will benefit all.” Said Samangani.

The comments come as no country has yet recognized the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan now after nearly five months.

Recognition of the IEA is currently the hottest topic inside Afghanistan as it has adversely affected the lives of millions of people.

Foreign aids have stalled in Afghanistan, the banking system has been crippled, construction projects have stopped, the health system has become fragile, and there are no financial activities.

The Afghan people believe that recognition of the de facto authorities in Afghanistan will be light in the narrow path and will lead to normalcy in the daily lives of people. —Agencies
