Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) and Customs authorities conducted joint operations at two different locations, seizing a large quantity of non-customs-paid goods and arresting several suspects. During a snap-check operation near Mianwali Colony on Manghopir Road, officials intercepted a suspicious container. Upon inspection, they arrested two suspects, identified as Ajab Lahan and Gul Badin, and seized 14,100 kilograms of non-customs-paid betel nut (chalia) worth millions of rupees. The contraband included 141 cartons of betel nut, 3135 kilograms of “Rajni” in 420 cartons, and 38 cartons of Pepsi chalia. In a separate operation, conducted in the Pashtoon Market near Banaras Ariana Bus Stand within the jurisdiction of Pirabad Police Station, seven suspects were apprehended.
