Raja Amir Karim has been elected President of the Rawalpindi Car Dealers Federation Zone (RCDFZ).
According to details, election for the president of the Federation was held yesterday in which car dealers cast their votes from nine in the morning till five in the evening. In a closely contested bout, Raja Amir defeated his closest rival Fazal Kazmi by a margin of 30 votes.
In his victory speech, the Federation’s newly-elected President, Raja Amir, said that the confidence reposed by car dealers in his leadership would be honoured in toto and every effort would be made for the resolution of their problems. He added that they would meet the Federal Minister for Finance and CBR officials and the car dealers’ problems, including the customs duty, would be brought to their notice.
