Rains to hit Islamabad this week; check complete forecast for capital here

ISLAMABAD – The meteorological office has predicted rains in Islamabad this week as a part of the new weather system in the country.

As per the PMD update, rainfall is expected in Islamabad and adjoining area on Friday, and over the weekend.

According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold and partly cloudy in upper parts.

Islamabad Weather Update ٖ

In the capital, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 8-20 degrees Celsius on Thursday. Cold and dry weather prevailed in twin cities during the last 24 hours.

In other parts of the country, cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold and partly cloudy in upper parts.

Met Office said Fog, smog likely to persist in upper Sindh, plain areas of Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa during morning and night hours.
