While there is tremendous hype of the Asia Cup being partially held in Pakistan and the schedule of Cricket World Cup which will be hosted by India, there is no newson one of the most prestigious educational tournaments that was hosted by Pakistan in July, 2023.

The International Young Physicists’ Tournament (IYPT), known as the World Cup of Physics is competition in which teams from more than 20 countries participated. Previous tournaments were held in China, Russia, Germany ,Romania, Poland and Georgia etc. and this year the honor was given to Pakistan.Only a small group of individuals who passionately believed in promoting a positive image of Pakistan and investing time and every possible effort in education, pulled this huge event off on their own with the help of family and friends, and without any official support.

Hosting and managing more than 150 foreigners and 15 teams was not an easy task, Dr. Farida Tahir and Mr. Tahir Hussain Khan, our local super-heroes took matters into their own hands and decided to make it happen no matter what. Despite their immense passion and dedication, they encountered significant obstacles that threatened to derail their efforts.
