Minister of Primary and Secondary Health Care of Punjab Dr. Jamal Nasir has said that the Punjab government has given a great relief to the low-income families in the province by launching the free flour scheme under the special Ramazan package.
Effective monitoring is being done to provide the fruits of this welfare package of Punjab to the people. He expressed these views while inspecting the mega trucking point of free flour in the city on the occasion of visit to Chakwal. The provincial minister reviewed in detail all the related issues including the stock of free flour at the mega trucking point, arrangements for distribution of flour at the stalls and provision of facilities to the people coming to get free flour. On this occasion Deputy Commissioner Qaratul Ain Malik and other officers of the district administration were also with him. While giving a briefing, the Deputy Commissioner informed the provincial minister about the implementation details of the special Ramadan package in the district and said that the free flour points established in each tehsil are being monitored daily so that flour can be distributed to anyone eligible to receive free flour. There was no difficulty in obtaining it.
