Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad along with Advisor HRD, HEC Brig (r) Hassan Jalil has inaugurated distribution of scholarship among the deserving and meritorious students of PU. In this regard the scholarship distribution ceremony under Ehsaas undergraduate Scholarship program was held in the committee room of Punjab University Vice Chancellor.
On this occasion Acting Director P&D Prof Dr Anwar, focal person Ehsaas Program/Deputy Director P&D/Students Financial Aid Officer Muhammad Ahmed and others were present. Previously Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC) selected 1381 students from University of the Punjab for award of that scholarship.
This scholarship covers Rs.40000 annual stipend along with tuition fee and incidental charges. This scholarship is awarded under Vision of Prime Minister to facilitate the deserving male and female students for attainment of higher studies.
It is worth mentioning that this award is largest scholarship awarded to the University of the Punjab in one financial year that reflects the vision of the vice chancellor to support each and every deserving meritorious student in PU.
