Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Senator IrfanSiddiqui has said that that the PTI’s next target is the imposition of economic sanctions against Pakistan.
PML-N’s parliamentary leader in the Senate and Chairman of the Senate Standing committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Siddiqui said that the PTI used money and influence to persuade current members of the U.S. Congress, who are running for the elections, to support an anti-Pakistan resolution. “Their (PTI) next target is imposition of all sorts of sanctions including economic sanctions, against Pakistan,” he said.
Senator Siddiqui said that PTI leaders in Pakistan issued instructions for the organized campaign in the US. PTI voters contributed money and used their influence for the anti-Pakistan resolution.
In his social media message, Senator Siddiqui further stated that the U.S. elections are approaching and candidates are running around seeking support and donations from their voters.
PTI’s wealthy and influential voters have used money and influence to persuade current members of Congress running for elections to support an anti-Pakistan resolution.
Senator Siddiqui tweeted that undoubtedly, this is a major success for PTI. Under instructions from Pakistan and through a systematic campaign, PTI is lobbying for another anti-Pakistan resolution for imposition of sanctions.
