The KSE100-index of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Monday witnessed bearish trend, losing 116.37 points, with a negative change of 0.24 percent, closing at 47,447.08 points against 47,563.45 points on the last working day.
A total of 474,994,829 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 505,993,802 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs14.322 billion against Rs15.374 billion the previous day.
As many as 412 companies transacted shares in the stock market, 136 of them recorded gain and 257 sustained losses whereas the share price of 19 companies remained unchanged.
The three top traded companies were WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 70,991,000 shares and price per share of Rs 3.85, Treet Corp with a volume of 63,612,000 and price per share of Rs61.40 and TLP Corp Ltd with volume of 27,386,000 and price per share of Rs19.67.
