MULTAN –  The Quetta Gladiators’ players and their management reacted to the action of the local administration for expelling the families of fast bowler Mohammad Amir, test cricketer Umar Amin and Moeen Khan’s families from the players’ box.

The families of several players from both teams were also present at Multan Stadium during the HBL PSL 9 match.

Mohammad Amir, Umar Amin and Moeen Khan along with Umar Amin’s family were watching the match near the chairman’s box.

Deputy Commissioner Multan and other district authorities went there and sent them out including Mohammad Amir’s children.

Quetta Gladiators’ players and management strongly protested against this action, stating that the PCB should prevent such actions, and district authorities have no right to adopt such disrespectful behavior towards players’ families.

After the match, Quetta Gladiators’ team staged a vehement protest, but neither the district administration nor security officers provided any satisfactory response.
