Founder of the Department of Journalism (now Mass Communication), University of Karachi, Professor Shareeful Mujahid passed away on Monday morning. His Namaz-e-Janaza was offered at the Masjid-e-Ibrahim KU after Namaz-e-Asr and later buried at Karachi University Graveyard. The KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi, who attended the funeral, expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Shareeful Mujahid and prayed for the departed soul. The chairperson and the faculty members of the Department of Mass Communication expressed deep sorrow on the demise of Professor Shaeerf ul Mujahid and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
