Proclaimed offenders arrested

Police in Sargodha arrested two proclaimed offenders on Monday who were wanted in various cases of robbery, dacoity, and murder attempts. The suspects, identified as Mazahar and Riaz, were arrested by a team of Kotmomin police station during a raid. They are said to be members of a notorious gang that has been terrorizing the area for some time. The police said that the suspects were wanted in at least 10 cases, including robbery, dacoity, and murder attempts. They are also suspected of being involved in the recent spate of kidnappings in the area.

The suspects are being questioned by the police and further investigation is underway. The arrests are a major breakthrough for the police and have sent a strong message to criminals in the area. The police are confident that they will be able

to bring the other members of the gang to justice soon. On the other hand three shopkeepers in Sargodha were booked and seven others were fined on charges of profiteering, authorities confirmed.

According to the media reports, price control magistrate Naseer Ahmad Kiyani and his team inspected Kot Imran and its surrounding areas, where they caught three shopkeepers Khizar Hayyat, Muhammad Imran, and Jamal Deen overcharging customers.
