Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to embark on a day-long visit to Karachi on Wednesday (today), where he will chair a meeting on development projects at the CM house.

Media reports suggest that Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah will receive the newly-elected PM upon his arrival in Karachi.
The prime minister, along with coalition parties, will pay his respects at the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam with the aim to “reiterate observance of the golden principles of the Founder of the Nation aimed at the progress and prosperity of the country.”
According to MQM-Pakistan’s spokesperson, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet MQMP Coordinating Committee at the party’s office in Bahadurabad at 2 pm.
