Preparations for safe Eid celebrations in Mardan, Swabi directed

Commissioner Muhammad Ayaz of Mardan Division has issued directives to ensure the safety and well-being of tourists during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha festivities. In a high-level meeting held at his office, Commissioner Ayaz instructed the administrations of Mardan and Swabi to implement necessary measures, focusing on various aspects of public safety and convenience.

Attended by key officials including Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Fayaz Khan Sherpao, Secretary to Commissioner Sara Tawab, and representatives from multiple departments such as Livestock, Police, and Municipal Administration, the meeting emphasized the importance of proactive planning and coordination.

Key points discussed during the meeting included the timely disposal of sacrificial animal carcasses to prevent health hazards and maintain cleanliness in public spaces. Commissioner Ayaz stressed the need for swift action to prevent the spread of diseases like Congo virus, urging the Livestock Department to conduct preventive measures such as spraying animals in cattle markets and at entry points.

In addition to health concerns, the meeting addressed security arrangements at tourist spots to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.
