The Punjab Revenue Authority’s has recorded a 30.1% increase in revenue collection and has collected Rs10.6 billion in the month of March 2021, as compared to Rs.8.1 billion collected in the corresponding period of 2020.
According to the provisional collection figures, the PRA’s total collection for the first nine months of the financial year 2020-21, according to the provisional figures stand at Rs.107.2 billion, as compared to Rs79.6billion in the same period of the last financial year, showing a growth of 34.6%.
The PRA spokesperson informed that the authority is on the right track towards achieving its target for 2020-21.
He also stated that despite Covid-19, the authority is able to achieve this remarkable growth due to the pro-business policies initiated by the Punjab govt and the vision of Finance Minister.
