LAHORE – The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced 250 jobs for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector in Punjab Highway Patrol, a wing of the Punjab Police Department.
As per the advertisement, the jobs have been announced in wake of service quota as only serving constables and head constables in the said department can apply for it.
Qualification and Experience Required for Job
Graduate from a recognized University
Three years’ service as Constable or Head Constable in the Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP), having clean service record and not more than forty five years of age.
- a) Only in the service graduate Constables and Head Constables permanently appointed in the Punjab Highway Patrol with three years’ service are eligible in their respective regions/districts.
- b) Relaxation in Age and Qualification shall not be granted in any case.
- c) The Experience/Service Certificate must be signed and stamped by the Senior Superintendent of Police / Superintendent of Police of the concerned region.
- d) Only those candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility conditions as mentioned in the advertisement will be considered eligible. Candidates must meet all eligibility criteria on or before the closing date set for the receipt of applications
Syllabus for Written Test of ASI Jobs
The aspirants will take one paper MCQs type written test of 100 marks in 90 minutes duration. Syllabus for the test includes 30 percent questions related to General Ability comprising Current Affairs, Pakistan Affairs, English and Basic Computer Studies.
However, 70% questions will be related to Law and Policing. The detailed course content relating to Law & Policing will be available on the PPSC official website i.e. www.ppsc.gop.pk
