The District Police Officer (DPO) Sialkot Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani on Wednesday, while paying tributes to the martyred police officials, has said that valuable sacrifices offered by the police officials during their fight against criminals, terrorists and anti-social elements would always be remembered with pride.
He said that while addressing a ceremony at the Police Lines Sialkot in connection with the ‘Police Martyrs Day’.
The Superintendent Police (Investigations), the Deputy Superintendents Police and other police officials and the several families of the martyred police officials were also present on the occasion. DPO Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani further said that the police officials who had given their lives in the line of duty had become immortal.
He said that the entire department of the police was highly proud of such brave cops who valued their duty over life. He stressed upon the police officials to do their duty with full honesty and be ready to offer their lives for the safety and security of the country and the citizens.
Later on, the DPO gave away gift packs and flowers to the families of 67 martyred police officials. Earlier, a police contingent presented the guard of honor to the ‘memorial of the martyrs’ and the DPO put a floral wreath over there and offered ‘fatiha’.
