After JUI-F, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) also raised a danda force (baton-wielding force) for Thursday’s rally. PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz’s rally will now be accompanied by a baton-wielding force of 100-strong youth.
PML-N workers will now be given sticks and the baton-carrying force will be deployed on duty to clear the way for the rally marchers and to provide security.
According to the party sources, the special baton-wielding force has formed for the protection of the participants in the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) rally in Lahore.
The PML-N has geared-up its preparations to face the power of the state and formed a special baton-wielding force. In this context, a truck loaded with the sticks has reached Jati Umra.
