The PML-N on Monday warmly welcomed the landmark ruling of the Supreme Court in a case related to the lifetime disqualification of the political leaders under Article 62 (1) (f) as it paved the way for many including Nawaz Sharif to re-enter the politics ahead of the fast approaching general elections.
Shehbaz Sharif, the PML-N President, congratulated his elder brother and vowed to run a vigorous campaign for the fast approaching elections.
PML-N another leader and former Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb Maryam Nawaz also took to the social media and reacted to the verdict. She used the word “Dark characters” to criticize those whom she believed were behind the disqualification of the party Supremo.
She wrote, “Alhamdulillah, today the dark chapter of judicial injustice of lifelong disqualification to make Quaid Nawaz Sharif a target of political revenge has finally ended. Through interpretation of Article 62 (1) (f) of the Constitution of their own choice, the dark characters who pushed Pakistan and the people into the mire of inflation, economic destruction and international disgrace have been declared guilty in the court, the people and the court of time,”.
