ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has rejected a summary to increase petroleum prices for November 2021.
The premier has taken the decision in order to provide relief to public already facing skyrocketing prices of essential commodities.
An official statement said that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) had recommended surge in petroleum prices in light of growing prices in the international market.
Earlier, reports claimed that the petrol prices would be increased by up to Rs6.5 per litre for the next 15 days, while the rates of diesel would go up by Rs8.
