PESHAWAR – Rains and gusty winds are likely at isolated places of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday evening/night, Monday and Tuesday.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), weak moist currents from Arabian Sea are penetrating upper parts of Pakistan and are likely to strengthen on Monday evening/night. A westerly wave will likely approach upper parts of the country on Monday evening/night.
Under these weather conditions, rains and gusty winds are likely at isolated places in Balakot, Mansehra, Abbotabad, Buner, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Malakand and Dir on Sunday evening/night.
On Monday and Tuesday, rains and gusty winds are likely at isolated places in Balakot, Mansehra, Abbotabad, Buner, Swat, Shangla, Battagram, Malakand, Dir, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat, Karak, Khyber, Bajaur and Kurram. Hot and humid weather is likely elsewhere in the province.
Peshawar’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 40-42°C on Monday and Tuesday.
