Peshawar blast attempt to create confrontation among forces: Governor

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor, Ghulam Ali has said that the suicide blast at Peshawar Police Lines mosque is aimed to create confrontation among the forces and to downgrade the morale of police. Speaking to media after inquiring about health of injured of the blast on Saturday, he said that every patriot was grieved over the loss of over hundred precious lives in Peshawar attack.

Ghulam Ali said that the security forces and law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have rendered matchless sacrifices in the war against terrorism. He said that all political parties and institutions need to join hand to tackle the law and order situation and control the incidents of terrorism in the province. The Governor said that the Caretaker Chief Minister Azam Khan and we are at the same page regarding provincial issues.

He said that all political parties were invited to attend the APC meeting but one political party avoided to attend the meeting. Issues can’t be resolved till all unite on sensitive national issues, he added. He further stated that whenever PTI Chairman Imran Khan wrote addressed someone, always used hatred language.

Ghulam Ali assured of providing more dialysis machines to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) and improving health facilities.—INP
