Special Assistant to CM on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has termed the PDM a gang of discarded elements with no vision or sense of direction.
Dr Firdous said the corrupt PDM elements have started making hue and cry as the fear of failure of the upcoming meeting has frightened them. “The opposition first spread corruption virus and now they are spreading coronavirus to play with the lives of the people,” she said. The PDM is bent upon making the people a victim of their politics. It is regrettable that the opposition is following the anti-Pakistan agenda as its politics has met its logical end, she added.
The number of corona patients has reached to 61155 in Lahore while 3265 have died in Punjab. 446 confirmed cases have been reported while 23 died during the last 24 hours, concluded the SACM.
Meanwhile, the SACM said that the Modi government has unleashed a reign of terror in Kashmir and we stand united with our Kashmiri brothers and sisters. The innocent Kashmiris are victim of Indian state terrorism. Addressing a press conference here at DGPR in connection with International Human Rights Day on Thursday, the SACM said that India has murdered millions of innocent Kashmiris including women and children in the occupied Kashmir. The international community must support innocent Kashmiris against the Indian aggression. The minorities enjoy equal rights in Pakistan.
Minister for Human Right, Minorities Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Ejaz Alam Augustine was also present on the occasion. Dr Firdous said that the government believes in equal rights of all citizens and protect the rights of minorities on the patterns of Rayasat-e-Madina. She said that the Royal Calibri Queen is spreading corona and playing with the lives of innocent people just for her political interests. The government is making strenuous efforts to stop the spread of corona and ensure strict implementation on SOPs, she added.
She said that it is responsibility of the government to ensure the protection of rights of lives and properties of the people without any discrimination but some political jugglers want to destabilize the peace of the city for their nefarious designs. While responding to a question, she said that opposition’s claim to resign is mere a political stunt because majority of the parliamentarians of opposition are aware of the secret desires of the rejected politicians and they will not sacrifice their political career for the convicted leadership.
She said that most of the parliamentarians from opposition benches want to protect themselves from suicidal narrative of Maryam Safdar therefore, the Calibri Queen has now decided to make Lahore a place of battle. She said that the government is well aware of the evil designs of PDM. The Calibri Queen has prepared a “baton force” to create chaos and anarchy in the city, she further said. Dr Firdous said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan has demolished the corrupt system created by these corrupt politicians and the latest lie of Calibri Queen regarding inundation of Greater Iqbal Park has been revealed to the public.
She said that no one is above the law and DJ Butt has been arrested on holding illegal weapon.
