A meeting at the special education department was held under the Chairmanship of Minister Special Education, Chaudhary Muhammad Ikhlaq here on Saturday.
Departmental matters, development projects, budget, and other matters were discussed. Secretary Special education, Muhammad Hassan Iqbal, DG Special Education Pervaiz Iqbal But, and Additional Secretary Amina Munir attended the meeting.
DG Special education briefed the Minister about the paperwork of Special Children Village Sharaqpur.
On this occasion Minister, Special education said that Special Education has never been focused on by previous governments; we are taking revolutionary steps for the welfare of special children.
Special Children’s Village Sharqpur is a mega project of the Special Education Department, and we will ensure that it is completed within our tenure.
The minister directed the Secretary that the buses procured for special children should be given different colors and designs.
He said that various messages will be displayed on special children’s buses to advertise the initiatives for special children for the awareness of the public.
He emphasized that no compromise will be made on the education and training of special children in Punjab.
Secretary Special Education said that the PC One of Special Children Village Sharqpur is almost complete. Other than that, we have completed all our paperwork for ADP schemes for the coming budget.
