Patwaris go on leave for one month as protest

All the Patwari’s of Abbottabad District after presenting 14 points charter of Demand had applied for the joint leave of one month as mark of protest against the attitude of Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad with other reservations.
Zeshan Khan Jadoon, General Secretary of Anjuman-e-Qanoongo and Patwarian Abbottabad District while giving details to media said that meeting of the entire revenue staff was held yesterday at old Tehsil Building which was attended by almost entire Parisians of Abbottabad district.
Different issues were discussed in the meeting in length and it was noticed that Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad is taking number of steps without fulfilling the codal formalities and justice is not provided to the revenue staff and attitude of the DC towards revenue staff is questionable and is non-co-operative with the backbone of the government functionary and working conditions is not favourable.
While presenting charter of demand to Chief minister KP and other high ranks officials including Chief Secretary and Senior member Board of Revenue, Zeshan Jadoon said that in future, Patwari’s will not bear the expenses of “Khully Kutcheries” and “ Durbar’s” of the divisional and district administrations and demanded for the early payments of previous expenditure, they will not perform extra and additional duties on Ehsas Program, Duties on Flour mill to monitor flour distribution and also demanded for the early payments of previous duties.
In the list of demands, appointments on the vacant seats, holding of DPC (Departmental Promotion Committee) meeting, early compilation of the revenue record with binding of the files, improvement of infrastructure at Mohifiz Khan and early replacement of the damaged electric wiring in the Mohafiz Khan, transfers of the officers of Revenue department who do not have the ability to run the Revenue Offices due to in competency and had also demanded a action against the fake complainants and till the disposal of the inquiry no action to be taken against the revenue staff. Completion of service record with endorsement of ACR’s (Annual Confidential Reports) and also re-instatement of two Patwari’s who have been restored by the honourable high court.
