A delegation of Palestinian Resistance Movement met APHC-AJK leaders in Islamabad today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation met APHC-AJK Convener Mahmood Ahmad Saghar, Ghulam Mohammad Safi, Mohammad Rafiq Dar, Sheikh Abdul Matin, Altaf Ahmad Butt and Imtiyaz Wani.
The Palestinian delegation was comprised of Dr Ashraf Awad, Nadel Saleh and Arif Ibad. Mahmood Ahmad Saghar on the occasion denounced India and Israel for subjecting the oppressed people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.
The Hurriyat leaders exposed the evil nexus between India and Israel to crush the freedom movements in the two regions.
The Palestinian delegation briefed the Hurriyat leaders about the background of the Palestinian issue and the current situation in the wake of Israeli aggression in Gaza and the West Bank. The delegation said a Palestinian state with al-Quds al-Sharif as its capital is the aspiration of the Palestinian people.
The head of the delegation invited the Hurriyat leaders to participate in its upcoming conference. Both sides urged the international community to play its role in stopping the atrocities on Palestinians and Kashmiris.—KMS
