Poetry and prose in Pakistani languages are like a bouquet and reflections representing diversity in unity.
These views were expressed by Dr. Yousuf Khushk, Chairman, Pakistan Academy of Letters while presenting the key-note address in the 15th programme of Pakistan’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations series, an online seminar on “Pashto Literature”.
Dr. Yousuf Khushk said the role of literature and writers in social development and national unity has been significant.
There is a need to cultivate the culture of all these languages and the idea of national identity so that our new generation could be acquainted with the Pakistani languages.
