The Pakistan Academy of Letters has established ‘Academy Studio’ to introduce literary figures, their contributions to the Pakistani youths.
This was said by PAL Chairman Dr Yousuf Khushk while addressing a ceremony in connection with Independence Day Diamond Jubilee celebrations.We will actively participate in the security and development of this country, only then we will be able to repay the sacrifices of our elders, said the PAL chairman.
He thanked all the scholars for participating in the event.
Later, he inaugurated the newly constructed “Academy Studio” in the Academy.
He said under Academy Studio, audio and video interviews of famous writers, poets and scholars will be recorded which will be a part of our literary heritage.
Not only writers belonging to every school of thought will benefit from this, but our new generation will also benefit from the personalities and art of their literary greats.
The establishment of “Academy Studio” in this context is of utmost importance.
Chairman PAL said that Mohammad Asim Butt, Director/Chief Editor took personal interest in setting up “Academy Studio” and unfailingly completed the project.
He said that inaugurating the “Academy Studio” on the occasion of Diamond Jubilee Independence Day was a matter of great satisfaction and honor for me.
Our writers have always written songs and hymns for the security and prosperity of Pakistan, but love for Pakistan is abundantly expressed in our entire literature.
