CAPE TOWN – Pakistan on Friday made only one change in its playing XI in the second Test match against South Africa.
Pakistan replaced Naseem Shah with left-arm fast bowler Mir Hamza in the playing XI.
According to some reports, Naseem Shah has some issues with his stiff back due to which he was rested in the second Test match.
Earlier reports had emerged that Mir Hamza would replace Aamir Jamal in the team.
The match will start at Newland Cricket Ground, Cape Town, at 1:30 pm Pakistan Standard Time.
The both sides are determined to show excellent performance in today’s match. South Africa wanted to dominate the series while Pakistan wanted to level it.
In the first Test match, an unbeaten 51-run partnership between Kagiso Rabada (31 not out, 26b, 5x4s) and Marco Jansen (16 not out, 24b, 3x4s) steered South Africa to a thrilling two-wicket win over Pakistan at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.
After win, South Africa also qualified for the ICC World Test Championship final scheduled next year at the Lord’s.
