Srinagar
In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Students Youth Forum has welcomed Pakistan’s recent policy statement on Kashmir wherein Kashmiris were reassured that the country’s moral, diplomatic and political support to their epic endeavor for right to self-determination would continue.
The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Students Youth Forum, Manzoor Ahmed Butt, in a statement in Srinagar said it is a highly commendable gesture from Pakistan which surely has reinforced Kashmiris’ hope of achieving their ultimate goal of freedom from the Indian yoke. He said that to express their gratitude, his party activists had swarmed the valley with pro-Pakistan and pro-freedom posters and banners. He said that with the robust support of their Pakistani brethren, he was confident that Kashmiris would succeed in their long drawn struggle for freedom.
He appealed to the UN and the international human rights groups to take cognizance of the unending Indian persecution and killing of the oppressed Kashmiris and put pressure on India to end its state terrorism in the occupied territory.—KMS
