ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held telephone contact with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and vowed to bolster ties.
In a call with President Erdogan, the premier conveyed greetings on the auspicious occasion of Eidul Fitr.
Leaders of Islamic nations exchanged Eid greetings and sincere wishes for peace, prosperity and unity for the people.
The premier highlighted historic relations between two nations and called for cooperation in various areas of mutual interest. Sharif and Erdogan reiterated unwavering support for each other’s key national interests and advocated for peace in Palestine.
PM further extended invitation to President Erdogan to visit Pakistan soon, which would allow for the convening of the 7th session of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
Prime Minister Sharif also exchanged Eid greetings with Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and expressed mutual wishes for peace, prosperity, and unity. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing ties and supporting each other’s core national interests.
PM and Qatari Emir also discussed importance of unity among Muslim Ummah and expressed their determination to further solidify relations between their nations.
PM Shehbaz meets Saudi Crown Prince at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah
